CIMA/ACCA Qualified or Part Qualified Practice Management Accountant

Suitable for a mature candidate who has: Good Sage 50 experience; Good Microsoft Excel, Word & general IT skills. You must be organised, sensible, practical and able to work to deadlines.  You must be able to manage department workload, manage and train one AAT finalist and a junior, liaise with our IT company and work with other managers as a team to support the business strategy and objectives. 

A successful candidate will be familiar with producing regular weekly and monthly reports and be familiar with undertaking regular annual tasks as they occur.

You and your staff will be required to complete bookkeeping on Sage 50, Sage Payroll and produce monthly management and annual accounts for two companies and property accounts, manage the billing, credit control, and cash flow for two companies and properties as well as supervise and train two junior staff to achieve the departmental objectives and meet the deadlines. We already have good internal systems, controls and checklists, together with a comprehensive job description, which will assist you to achieve the job requirements. There are opportunities for you to make recommendations and improvements when you have learnt the job. We are a forward looking accountancy practice with a good team culture.

Salary dependant on experience and qualification. On the job and external training provided.
