The problem of raising finances for Small Businesses

According to a survey by the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB), small firms are struggling to raise the money they need to expand.

Nearly half of the 2,600 respondents in the survey said they wanted to expand in the coming 12 months, but found that 42% of those who applied for a loan said they were turned down. This is an increase on the previous quarter of nearly 2%.

Lavinia Newman, Founder of ABDS says:
“Access to funding is available, but proposals and business plans have to be carefully designed and thought through.”

If you need any help and advice for your business on Tax, VAT or the implications of Government Funding initiatives, contact Lavinia Newman, Stuart Coleman or Tonmoy Kumar to discuss how ABDS can help
