On line filing for micro-entities to be improved

Following an EU directive, Companies House and HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) have improved online filing options for smaller companies, or 'micro-entities'.

Tonmoy Kumar, Manager of the Accounts Department of ABDS comments:
“To meet HMRC's criteria for filing simplified financial statements online, companies must have a turnover of £632,000 or less, and either a balance sheet with assets of £316,000 or less, or an average annual number of employees totalling ten or fewer. Companies choosing to file 'basic micro-entity' accounts with Companies House must meet two of these three criteria.”

If you need any help and advice with your Tax compliance and planning, contact Lavinia Newman, Stuart Coleman or Tonmoy Kumar to discuss how ABDS can help in all your financial planning and business advice.
